Isn't this the same as lotion?
We're about that anhydrous life!
No water in our formulas means our creams are RICH - delivering intense hydration and moisture lock.
Lotion may be some people's jam, but water-based products create an ideal environment for bacteria, fungi and yeast, which is why they have to be loaded up with preservatives in order to remain safe for use.
Yah, we're not having any of it.
What's our process?
Our products are handmade in small batches for the highest quality and freshness. We do not include harsh chemicals, petroleum derivatives or synthetic additives.
What about sensitive skin?
If your skin is easily irritated, or you're creaming kids, you'll love our ingredients list! For added assurance, we recommend stripping out any non-essentials and going fragrance free. That's the Naked Truth!
In a word - "eczema"
Okay, so I had crazy eczema, and since I'm not a fan of steroid creams, I formulated my way to our Level 3 - RELIEF BALM. A moisturizing bar that creates a protective barrier and treats affected skin with targeting essential oils.
Eczema may need to be addressed on multiple levels (gut health is a big deal) but thanks to the anti-inflammatory, vitamin-rich emollients in RELIEF BALM, you'll soon see where it got it's name!
How do I use this stuff?
- Please make sure hands are clean and dry before using your butters so as not to introduce dirt or bacteria into the product.
- Do not allow water into the body butter product containers.
- Butters should be kept away from direct heat between uses.
Can I use it on my face?
Level 1 is a 'head to toe' formulation so YES to faces, hair and babies as the ingredients have very low comedogenic ratings.
The colour or texture seems different from my last order. Is that normal?
Though we try to maintain consistency by using the same process for each batch, our natural ingredients can vary slightly in colour and texture from one batch to the next. Works just as good!
My whipped body butter melted. Now what?
No worries. Refrigerate your butter for about 20 minutes. The texture will change a bit but the nourishing effects remain the same.
What is the shelf life?
Our products are made with natural ingredients and are free of artificial preservatives. They are best used within 12 months (although we are confident you will finish it long before then).
To help maintain the longevity of your butters, we recommend storing them away from heat.
Can I pick up my order?
Possibly. If you're in Toronto, give us a shout before completing checkout. Even though we're not a brick & mortar, we'll do what we can to accommodate you.

Although we do not accept returns for personal care goods, your customer experience is important to us and we want you to enjoy a quality product. Please contact us with any questions, concerns or even just feedback so we can make it right.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.

Our products are made locally from imported raw materials. We carefully select our suppliers to ensure our products are high quality, ethically sourced and a fair value.
